Depending on the size of your organization, below are positions to consider and generic responsibilities that can be adjusted to your needs:
Officers of the Board
Officers are the voting board members who oversee the "booster club" operations. They vote on items that do not require a vote from the general membership. Normally you have an odd number of officers of the board so that votes do not end in a tie. Some clubs will combine the "vice-president" and "secretary" position if the club is smaller or if there is not that much work to do throughout the year. Listed below are sample posititions.
President - The President shall be the principle executive officer of the Association and preside at all meetings of the general membership and the executive board. Perform all duties incident to the office of president and such other duties prescribed by the executive board.
Vice-President - The Vice-President shall in the absence of the president be vested with the same authority, powers, and duties as the president. Ensure that all meetings shall be run according to Roberts Rules of Order. Have such powers and perform such duties as may be delegated to him/her by the president. Perform all duties incident to the office of vice president and such other duties prescribed by the executive board.
Secretary - The Secretary shall prepare and maintain full records of meeting of the executive board and of the general membership, and keep a directory of the addressed of each member. Post minutes no later than one week after all membership meetings. Perform all duties incident to the office of secretary and such other duties prescribed by the executive board.
Treasurer - The Treasurer will collect revenues payable to the Association. Provide at least verbal reports to monthly meetings of the executive board and written fiscal at quarterly general membership meetings. Prepare financial records for tax preparation from an outside service at the end of the fiscal year and have records reviewed and/or audited upon leaving office. Perform all duties incident to the office of treasurer and such duties prescribed by the executive board.
Fundraising Chair - The Fundraising Chair shall supervise all fundraising activities of the Association and secure a coordinator for each fundraising event. Develop an annual fundraising plan. Perform all duties incident to the office of the treasurer and such other duties prescribed by the officers of the board.
